Gentle Chakra Yoga Flow.  We will begin our session with a gentle chakra yoga flow, suitable for beginners, Jane will guide you through a sequence with poses that correspond to each Chakra.
Starting from your root chakra – Muladhara up to your crown chakra – Shasrara. Fine tuning your chakras will help to strengthen your physical body, nourish your creativity, fire up your motivation, nurture your heart, inspire you to speak up, clarify your intuition and help your spirituality to shine.
For each pose Jane will guide you into the pose, suggesting progressions or alternative poses, encouraging you to listen to your body, making the pose your variation of the pose, working with your breath to allow you to be at ease whilst resting in the pose.
Chakras can become blocked, working on a pose to activate the chakra can help to release any blockages or stagnant energy, which will then allow the prana to flow freely.
Yoga Nidra
For our Yoga Nidra session Jane will guide you through a Crystal Cove meditation, all you will need to do is follow her voice, as you are taken effortlessly into a state of harmonious, restful being.
From here we can be healed, restored and awakened to our deepest, all-knowing, all-welcoming self.
Yoga Nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that isn’t found in your average meditation practice. It offers a space to explore what you need in the moment, as well as an opportunity to work on releasing long-held emotions.
Sound Bath
We will end the day with a deeply relaxing and healing Sound Bath.
Sam will guide you through a meditation whilst playing relaxing and soothing sounds to help you to deepen your experience.
Within the Sound Bath there will be gongs, singing bowls, flute, hand pan, rain stick, rattles, shamanic drums and other percussion to create primordial sounds and vibrations.
Released from the limitations of the physical body and mind within this place of stillness you may experience a strong sense of inner peace, wellbeing and calm. You may also have valuable insights given the time and space for self-reflection.
About the Venue
The Yoga Shed is a calm and tranquil space ideal for yoga and therapeutic workshops with a beautiful garden space. Designed to provoke thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations that focus awareness on the present moment.
Your tutors will be Sam Britton from Sirenity Sound for the Soul & Jane Sukhu from Yoga for All with Jane.
